Launched last March at SIA (the Paris International Agricultural Show), the Clic&Farm field management software, which since last May has been interoperable with [keyfield]app from Nexxtep Technologies, keeps evolving. For greater convenience, it is now available as a mobile app. All fields, equipment, products and third parties are synchronised automatically online. Users then simply select the information with a tap of the finger. Indicators also make it possible to monitor live any dose overruns or unauthorised mixtures when applying a treatment. A nice extra: quantities are converted into the unit chosen by the farmer, and totals are calculated according to the area worked. It is worth noting that the app works offline, with the information resynchronised as soon as a network is available.
Field management in under 3 minutes
For now, the mobile app can only be downloaded from the Google Play Store and can therefore only be used on Android smartphones. It will soon be available for iOS as well (release planned for the end of 2018 — not long to wait now). Clic&Farm has the advantage of being very easy to use. This solution is therefore ideal for farmers who are a little less connected, a little less “geeky”… David JOULIN, CEO of the young start-up, points out: “With our new tool, complete field management becomes possible from your mobile phone, in under 3 minutes. It is one more step towards simplifying administrative tasks for farmers! We are giving them the keys to spend more time on their trade and less on data entry.”
Instantly visible in the interface
Unlike other solutions on offer, Clic&Farm is available free of charge online by simply logging in to the ekylibre.com platform. It also stands out for its genuine ease of use. Users can retrieve their field layout in record time. Once their credentials have been entered (PACAGE number — the farm’s identifier for CAP declarations — and password), the fields declared under the CAP the previous year are instantly visible in the interface. No searching by GPS point, no trial and error required. And if farmers do not have their credentials, they simply enter the physical address of their farm to identify their fields, without having to redraw them.
